might be cheaper than other services, but they arent famous or really popular so i'd be weary to be honest of trusting my domain needs with them.

I have heard about them before along with snapnames and others. I think pool actually has a decent inventory. I thought they were tied to a big registrar, or were at least one time. I have also heard some concerns about domains getting run-up unnaturally, but I do not have anything to support them.

I haven't really heard about them.If I were you I'd do extensive reasearch on them before you decide to try them out. They might be good even they aren't famous.
