If you are interested in learning more about domain name cases or curious to see cases that may be similar to your own domain name or one that you may be thinking of registering, check this site out:

I like this link because it is a basic table that shows the commencement date, decision date, as well as the status or panel decision. I scanned a few list pages and there are some cases posted that are still pending.
Some pending cases go as far back as 2002. Below, I’ve listed some of the potential decisions one may expect: |
An example of a pending case can be found in the case involving: aolnasties.com. I’m cracking up that it even reached the court. It was submitted for a decision in 2003.
Other pending cases include: colonelsanders.com comfortinnmotels.com planetebay.com compaq.biz hackingxbox.com harcourtscience.com |
There are also split decisions, as seen in the cases involving domain names like:
aolnews.com commscope.info harleypartsonline.com vandavis.net womensfinalfour.com womensfinalfourtickets.com |
Sometimes the registration is simply cancelled, as seen with cases involving the domain names of:
bayshorevinyl.com bbb-asia.com trans-america.com sagemwap.net salvador.dali.name liptor4sale.com samsungphilips.com |
Dismissals may come; some are unspecified. Other domain name cases are dismissed without prejudice, such as the cases of wwwcelebrex.com, toyotafleet.com and wwwcaribbeangold.com.
For the Celebrex case, the decision came in 14 days. Additional examples: pumatech.org sandelsresort.com saralee.org levelrock.net likeagoodneighbor.net |
You might even see a few decisions that state: “settlement with transfer,” as seen with the case involving domain names: yahoofrance.com and yahoogames.com.
You will see that a ton of Yahoo-inspired domain names have made their way to court. Additional examples: praline.com putasgae.com |
A case can be suspended at the request of the complainant or suspended for other reasons not stated.
Additional examples: pwcconsulting.com, scudder.info, lipostabil.biz, lottotn.com, lycoseurope.com |
