Default The Use of Font Sizes and Styles on Your Website

Be careful that you create a website that can be easily read by ANYONE who visits. Consider failing eyesight and don't go with small fonts or pale colored fonts. Stay away from script fonts for all but the largest, most decorative headers and try to be consistent in your use of fonts throughout your website so that your site has a consistent look and feel.

prepare your color schemes carefully as well (backgrounds/fonts) so that it is easy on the eyes.

Darker colors are easier to read for those who have bad eyesight. In general a deep blue is a good choice and you can use accent fonts to make words stand out, if you'd like. Just be sure they are easy to see for EVERYONE.

Here's a question about fonts:

If a website specifies a particular font to be displayed, the person viewing the site needs that font installed to see the site as designed, or a default font will be selected, right?

Re: Fonts, use also those fonts that are clear to the common viewer. There are italics, script fonts that will make it hard to be understood by people who aren't familiar with these styles.
