Default Google and Digg

I think it would be wise for Google to buy Digg next. There has been talk about Google starting their own "digg", but with the traffic and revenue Digg has and creates, why bother starting a new up when you could buy it.

What do you think, good idea or no?

Hey Geoserv. I think you make a valid point about taking advantage of the existing development.

Personally, I haven't had much experience with digg, and I'm not very enthusiastic about it at this point.

Digg is quite popular right now, they seem to do a good job of keeping spammers off of it. I read somewhere that they made 50+ million last year, not sure if this is 100% true.
