Do you use photoshop to design sites?
I tend to use photoshop for the initial concept, but i plan it mostly in dreamweaver

Sometimes I do, but as I said in another thread, most of my design work is outsourced.

99% of webdesigners use PS though, what other tools are there?

Hmm i dont know. There is other software that people use though.. Illustrator?
Flash?

Speaking of Flash.. are Flash sites still in fashion?

I use photoshop CS2 at the moment, its the latest version.
Its a big improvement on older versions so I highly recommend getting it if you havent already.

I dont have CS2 yet, Im happy with CS.
I dont think they are different at all, well hardly.
I know its different from Photoshop 7 etc though.

Im using photoshop 7 still.
I actually thought that that CS looked the same as 7
I know 7 was a huge upgrade on 6 but it hasnt changed alot since then.

i still have PS6 actually.. does the job for me.
Should i really get 7? Its expensive..

I like Photoshop only for working with graphics and photos, but as far as designing a website, I use other software to complete that job.

I use PhotoShop to morph images and add effects that are appropriate to a site. Don't really use it to design the entire site or layout.

It is only now that I know that PS can be used to design websites coz in my job, we only use PS for images and for editing our website, we use dreamweaver.
