Default Sandbox

How long can one expect to stay in the google sandbox for?
I could swear that one of my sites has been in it for 7 months- isnt this too long?

7 months is a bit long. Maybe its a very competitive market you are in?
It really greatly depends on how much competition your website has.

Yes competition is a big factor.
Also the domain, is it brand new or an old domain?

Sort of. If you have some high pr links pointnig to your site, you are likely to get spidered early.
Try posting something at craigslist.com - its a great way to get a very high PR link.

Default I had that happen

I didnt know what it wa called. i just thought it got dumped. I redid it thougha few times and finally it showed up. Then I dumped my website and strated anew, and low and behold it was there. I guess it depends.
I found that just continually doing it that eventually youll get there. Also I found but I cant remember where a spider that goes directly into google and others and always shows up.
