Do PHP pages perform worse in the search engines than plain old html?
Are there are disadvantages at all to using PHP?

Well if you use dynamic php (content pulled from a database), then you can just use mod rewrite to make the URL a html URL.
This means there is virtually no difference when using PHP.

Anyone got a mod rewrite tutorial?
Im finding it hard to work out how to use it!

I dont mean just databases, i mean mostly using .php instead of .html, say if you want to use includes or something. get what i mean?
Im wondering if the extension has an effect.
