Default Old domain names

I heard that old domain names are treated better by google.
Is this true?

So in that case is it better to register a domain now that i might not use until next year, to allow it to age?

Yes good idea.
But register it for more than a year.

Good idea to put some pages up there too, rather than have a blank site.

Cool!
I have some older domains undeveloped.
Even if there is nothing on that old domain, is it still treated better, or only if theres already some indexed pages?

I think you need to be careful when buying used domains. Check they havent been banned by google. The last thing you want is a blacklisted domain.

Or any other search engine. There's no point in buying domains that are blacklisted. They'r e not going to generate you any money!

That is right! Before you decide on spending for anything, make sure that you will profit from it. These "products" can't be returned and they don't cost just a penny.

That is interesting. I never would have thought that a domain name would be "blacklisted." Sometimes when I type in the wrong URL,another website pops up that is for sale...what about those?
