I just use godaddys domain manager. I dont even know if there are tools that let you manage domains outside the registrar website?

I know someone with thousands of domain names and he wrote all his own tools for management.

I don't have that many right now. Perhaps 60, so right now I don't use anything beyond the basic registrar tools. I am looking down the road. I started a spreadsheet at one time but abandoned it due to being bored.

I don't have enough of them to even start a spread sheet yet, so I'm relying on godaddy's system, and it seems just fine for my purposes. One day though

I use godaddy and also I have them all on my favorites. I also like to keep an alphabetical list of all my sites. I think someone famous once said something like

'People who want to appear clever memorize. People who want to get things done make lists.'

I think I saw it on Jeopardy!

Default Domain Management Tools

There are some domain management tools out there. If that is your business, you can also hire a domain manager to do the job for you and just go to Bermuda for the weekend!

If you don't have all that many domains and you have them all with the same web host, these guys often have a lot of built in tools you can use. OR, if you have a lot of names, you can go with a company like BulkRegister that offers the tools for bulk management, though some do not happen to think these guys are that good.

Basing on the responses, I am going to go for GoDaddy's hosting and domain services not only because it is cheap but it seems to be effective.
