When did you start buying domains?

Me, I bought my first domain 2 years ago. I wish i had started earlier!

me too, i started only this year.
but Im making up for lost time, already have quite a few domains now and even more planned for the rest of the year.

2.5 years ago. not long enough. wish i started in 95 or so when domains were valuable and now those one word domains go for thousands.. damn!

I bought my first one a mere 10 months ago, but am getting ready to buy another in the next month or so.

I actually bought my first domain back in 1994, but I was not really in the domain buying business back then. I actually ran an ISP and we owned several domains, but they were all for business, not for resale or speculation.

If I knew then what I know now, I would have retired very wealthy a few years ago.

Then I did not own any domains from 1998 to 2000, then I registerd a domain for personal use and have had it ever since, but I started getting into buying domains to build sites and potentially market or sell about a year ago.

Mostly building sites, but now looking to expand.

What is in a NAME?

A few years ago. Started when I was around 16. I've had around 10-15 domains since then. Some I used, some I never got round to using.

I started this year, I wished I started early.. Could have been retiring young :P
I just sold a domain this week, hope to sell more.

I started registering domains about 5 years ago, but it was a slow time for the net, right after the bubble bursted, so I wasn't registering them as an investment, just for the heck of it.

I bought my first domain about two years ago. I wish I knew about it before though. Now I have over ten domains and I want more!
